Thor and his staff deliver the best spa services in Highlands County! The atmosphere is elegant, the service, from reception to the facials, massages, scrubs, wraps, and manicures/pedicures, are done with style and panache. I was visiting family in town had managed to really "knot up" my body due to stress. I'm not typically a "spa" person- having only experienced two massages in my life. . but I figured I'd give the Spa at Hammock Falls a try. They asked me to come a bit early to fill out an information sheet asking which areas of my body to focus on. I was greeted by a very friendly lady I learned was the owner's Mom. I loved this because I know my Mom is my best sales person, too. Haha. I was promptly introduced to my massage therapist. The massage was amazing. I felt as if I was 100 pounds lighter. . and so relaxed. They played peaceful music; the massage therapist was extremely friendly, professional, and experienced. He seemed as if he'd been doing this for 100 years. Something I appreciated was the fact he paid attention to the form I filled out. I loved their attention to detail- even their bathroom had cotton hand towels. They also offered me Fiji water. I thought that was a nice touch. Bottom line: This was a relaxing, professional, spa that helped relieve my pain and reduced the stress I was carrying around.
